What is God’s story?

God’s big story: the past grace of salvation, the future grace of mission and the present grace of God’s people living in God’s world for God’s purpose. This plenary session with Rev Dr Chris Wright will provide the biblical and theological basis for our mission.

What’s the story of Malaysia and the Malaysian Church?

Panel 1 | We are God’s Story in Malaysia: Who is part of God’s story in Malaysia? This session will offer a balanced perspective on the issues faced by our community and how we need to include them in our path towards Integral Mission.

What’s my story? How does it fit into God’s story?

Panel 2 | Christian's connecting faith to action: What’s MY story? Come listen as activist, policy experts and government officials share their real life testimonies and challenges of the journey towards change. How God motivates and accompanies them.

  • Biblical and theological reflections on God’s Mission and the mission of His people

FAQs

Q. What is the fee to participate?
A. We are offering group registrations. Pay for 4 pax and get 1 free! We also have student rates at RM15 and individual rates at RM 30. Fee includes access to all sessions and recordings, networking rooms, free e-book and prizes up for grabs!
If you are unable to contribute to the registration fees, please send an email to micah.malaysia@gmail.com with the email subject "LGS Conference Fee" and we will be in touch with you.

Q. How do I register as a 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩?
A. All 5 participants in the group needs to register individually. At payment, just one of you needs to pay the RM120 and e-mail us the receipt and list of names. 

Q. How do I qualify for the 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞?
Whether you are a full time or part time student you are eligible for our student pricing, there is no age limit. However if you are working or are able to afford the full price, we welcome that you pay the full price to cover the cost. Thank You.

Q. I’m based outside of Malaysia. Can I still join?
A. Absolutely! This is an online event. However please take note of the timezone (UTC 8).

Q. Is the sessions in English only?
A. We will strive to translate the sessions (except for Q&A) into Bahasa Malaysia.

Q. Is this an interactive discussion or just a ‘listen-in’ webinar?
A. All sessions will have live Q&A opportunities and during the networking session, participants will be able to get to know each other. We will also set up a dedicated Telegram/Signal group to communicate with each other. Your thoughts, feedback and questions are most welcome.

Q. What if something comes up and I need to retract my registration?
A. You can transfer your registration to another person, just ensure that they sign up too and e-mail us with notification that they are taking your spot. We also understand that not everyone will be able to join every session of the conference, so for all confirmed participants, we will send you a link to the recordings after the conference.
